Managed data and publishing services
Useful data, ready to publish.
We connect permitted sources to clear records, reviewed outputs and dependable publishing. A feed, spreadsheet or database becomes something the creative team can work with, with a known owner and a sensible failure state.
Give the record a clear meaning
An event date, price, service status or availability figure can appear in many places. We help define what the field means, where it comes from, how old it may be and what should happen when it is missing. Stable IDs, units and source timestamps make the output easier to trust and maintain.
This can support a council service finder, a product catalogue, an editorial workflow or a business explaining its own infrastructure. The first step is a source and requirements review, not a promise to connect everything automatically.
Build a pipeline the team can inspect
Collection and normalisation: agreed APIs, structured files and existing databases, with permissions, field mapping, duplicate rules and bounded refresh jobs.
Freshness and validation: observation time, collection time and request health kept separate, with meaningful unknown, stale and unavailable states.
Publishing and exports: saved public records, content APIs, versioned snapshots and an editorial review step before customer-facing claims go out.
Operational ownership: logs that answer useful questions, alerts for material failures, retry limits, release checks and a documented recovery route.
See one record become a campaign
The fictional map below connects a source to a saved record, a website and exported artwork. Change its controls to see what the system can still claim when a source stops answering.
Interactive fictional map: source, refresh, saved records, media, edge cache and campaign outputs. Loads as you approach it.
The same pattern can supply maps, customer notices, diagrams and marketing templates. It does not remove the need to approve the message or replace files already distributed. Read the backend guide for more examples.
Use trends as evidence for a brief
We can help prepare a reviewable topic signal from permitted editorial metadata and appropriate aggregate measures. Define the sources and comparison window, remove duplicates, retain provenance and expose gaps in coverage. A rising count gives an editor something to investigate; it does not prove demand or sentiment.
Where data is sensitive, access and aggregation are designed around the actual purpose. Public examples and sales materials use invented or expressly approved records. We do not expose a private dashboard just because its diagram looks useful.
An agreed handover, then an agreed service
The scoped delivery can include a data dictionary, source mapping, a working pipeline, sample failure cases, output contracts and an editing or operations guide. We test the paths the team will actually use, including an outdated record and an unavailable upstream source.
Ongoing monitoring, source changes and support hours are agreed separately. A managed feed needs someone to own it after the first release. If a provider changes its terms or removes access, the response should be clear before the failure happens.
For the creative result, AceMedia Ninja designs the maps, charts and motion. For launch delivery and operation, see campaign infrastructure.
