AceMedia HostRequest invite

WordPress hosting with room to breathe.

Keep the freedom to make WordPress your own, while we look after the hosting.

MADE FOR WORDPRESS

A setup that fits your site.

Plan the move

We inspect your theme, plugins, media, email and traffic before migration.

Update with care

Core, themes and plugins need checks, backups and a way back, not blind auto-updates.

Images that load well

Media handling can be tuned for your content, including image optimisation and CDN delivery where suitable.

Built for the work

Purpose-built WordPress improvements can help with media, repeat visits and search visibility where your site will benefit. We test changes on real sites before rolling them out.

BUILT INTO THE EXPERIENCE

WordPress technology that earns its place.

We develop and test our own improvements on active websites before using them more widely. The aim is practical: a quicker path to useful pages, lighter media, tighter access and less repetitive maintenance. What we enable depends on your site, rather than a long list of features switched on by default.

Images with a job to do

Suitable formats, sizes and delivery paths can help visitors get the image they need without carrying the largest file every time.

Useful repeat visits

Careful caching can reduce repeated work while keeping carts, accounts and other changing pages current.

Clearer search signals

We review what search engines can reach, how pages are described and where technical clutter can be removed.

Access with intention

Login and editing controls should fit the people using the site, with sensitive actions kept behind the right permissions.

These are capabilities we assess and configure, not a guarantee that every site receives the same stack or ranking result.

WHAT WE WILL NOT ASSUME

Your website is not a template.

WooCommerce, memberships, bookings and community sites all need different resources. We agree what the beta covers before moving anything, and custom development is quoted separately.

BEFORE A WORDPRESS MOVE

Check the pages that do the work.

A working homepage is only the beginning. We ask about forms, orders, member logins, scheduled tasks, redirects and any service connected to the site. We test those journeys on a copy where possible, then plan the DNS change with your existing email setup in view.

After launch, we agree how WordPress core, plugins and themes will be maintained for your site. Design changes, custom plugin work and new features are separate projects; we can scope them through AceMedia if you need them. Explore the migration process →

ON THE ROADMAP

AceCore is in development.

Coming soon: AceCore is a smarter shared WordPress foundation we are developing to keep suitable sites lean and make maintenance more consistent. It is not a live beta feature. We will test it and agree a rollback path before using it for customer sites.

LESS WORK FOR THE SERVER

Give each part of the site the right job.

For sites with suitable public images, a CDN can take repeat image requests while WordPress keeps handling the pages and features that need it.

DIRECT DELIVERYVisitor → WordPress → image

The site server answers the image request itself.

WHEN A CDN FITSVisitor → CDN → image

The CDN can answer suitable public image requests; WordPress remains available for the rest of the site.

Illustrative request paths, not measured speed or savings. Private content and site-specific rules need separate handling.

MADE FOR WORDPRESS

We write the plugins we host with.

We build and maintain our own WordPress plugins, and our sites use them every day: Ace Redis Cache for page and object caching with real-page warming, Ace Crawl Enhancer for SEO and honest readership numbers, and Ace Registration Guard to keep spam sign-ups out without third-party keys. Sites are provisioned with a clean /core and /assets layout, so WordPress updates and your own code stay apart.

We’re also piloting AceCore, a shared, read-only WordPress core that sites can use safely together. Early tests show less memory per site; it stays in development until the numbers hold up on real traffic.

INVITE-ONLY BETA

We’re inviting ten beta projects to help us test and shape the service. Tell us what you’re building; we’ll reply personally. Fields marked * are required.
