From an existing host
Deploy from Git, share an agreed export or use our WordPress importer; we can check files, database, email, DNS and redirects with you. We test the new copy before a cutover.
Built in Sheffield by Shane Rounce. Fast, fully managed hosting for work that reaches well beyond the city.
WHY LOCAL CAN HELP
Being based in Sheffield means local businesses can discuss a move with the person who operates their hosting. It does not limit where your visitors are or where we can work with you. We can review your site, its current setup and the support it needs before a move.

Tell us the stack, expected content and who will maintain it. We’ll explain what the beta can support and how to create the site.
A SHEFFIELD EXAMPLE
The Sheff Events project is centred on helping people discover local events and places. Its evolving listings and maps inform how we think about image delivery, deployment and the needs of a busy WordPress site. Read the AceMedia case study →
For a different workload, compare the WordPress hosting and custom hosting approaches. Your site gets a fit check of its own.
FOR SHEFFIELD TEAMS
A Sheffield shop may need its checkout tested after a move; a venue may depend on event pages and enquiry forms; a community group may need several people to publish safely. We start with the job your website does, then plan the hosting around it.
We can discuss a new website, an existing site or app, a shop or a WordPress build. Bring the current address if you have one, and tell us what cannot stop working. We will explain whether the beta fits before asking you to change hosts. See our migration approach →
THE PRIVATE BETA
Accepted beta sites receive three years of free hosting within an agreed resource allowance. There is no card or automatic paid conversion. We’ll discuss your site, scope and onboarding route with you before making an offer.
