Inventory
We record the software, content, storage and integrations the site relies on.
We map your site, test a copy, then agree the cutover and a way back.
BEFORE WE MOVE
For WordPress, that means core, themes, plugins, uploads, database, forms, scheduled jobs and any integrations. For a custom site, we also need its runtime, build and release process. We check where your domain, DNS and email currently live so a website migration does not accidentally interrupt a mailbox.
We record the software, content, storage and integrations the site relies on.
Build or provide a test copy, then check key pages, forms, accounts, checkout or other important journeys with us.
We choose a sensible time, confirm DNS and redirects, and watch the site after the change.
We agree what triggers a rollback and keep the previous host available for an agreed period where possible.
WAYS TO START
Tell us the domain and what it runs on: a static site, an app, a shop or WordPress. We can set up an accepted beta site with you now; guided customer creation is the planned dashboard route once access testing is complete.
For a suitable existing WordPress site, you can use the AceHost migration plugin to package files and the database. We can guide the transfer if you need us. We check access and compatibility first; it is not a one-click promise for every host.
If you have SSH or SFTP access, you can provide an agreed file and database export, with our help if needed. If an old host only offers FTP or a control-panel download, we assess a secure handover method before transferring anything.
A guided customer import and new-site flow is part of the portal work. It is not public self-service yet; we can handle onboarding with you while those controls are tested.
YOUR SITE IS DIFFERENT
A shop needs order and payment checks. A membership site needs account and private-content checks. An events platform needs listings, maps and media checks. We do not call a move complete because the homepage opens: we test the journeys people actually use.
Not every part of the stack has to move. You can keep your existing email provider or domain registrar while AceMedia Host looks after the website, if that is the right arrangement. The hosting allowance, support and any development work are agreed before the migration begins.
See managed WordPress hosting, custom-site hosting or the common questions for more detail.
AFTER THE SWITCH
DNS changes do not reach every visitor at once. We agree how to monitor the new site and check the journeys that matter: enquiries, purchases, sign-ins, scheduled jobs and links from search results. If something is wrong, we use the rollback plan we agreed before cutover.
Tell us about any launch date, busy period or external integration when you enquire. We can then choose a sensible window and say what access or export we need from your current host. Discuss your migration →
